This notice applies to our website, subscription software, sales communications, and support channels. By using our services you agree to this policy and our Terms of Use.
3. Information we collect
You provide: name, email, company, messages, billing details, account settings, and break-scheduling preferences.
Automatic: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referral URLs, and cookie IDs when permitted.
From partners: payment processors and hosting providers that help us deliver the service.
4. How we use information
Provide and improve the desk break platform; process payments; respond to inquiries; secure accounts; comply with law; send service emails; and, with consent, analytics or marketing measurement. We do not use data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
Where GDPR applies: contract performance, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (non-essential cookies/marketing), and legal obligation.
6. Sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. Limited data may be shared with analytics or advertising partners when you opt in via cookies—this may be considered “sharing” under California law. Opt out on our Do Not Sell/Share page or through Cookie Settings.

We do not sell personal information for monetary value. Shine the Light: California residents may request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes once per year.
8. Retention
Contact records: up to 24 months. Account data: subscription term plus up to 12 months. Server logs: up to 90 days. Marketing suppression lists: until you opt back in. Cookie choices: stored locally until cleared.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, vendor review, and employee training. No system is 100% secure. We notify users and regulators of breaches as required by U.S. state breach notification laws.
10. Children (COPPA)
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us to request deletion if you believe we received such data.
11. Email and texts (CAN-SPAM / TCPA)
Marketing emails include our address and an unsubscribe link. SMS, if used, requires prior express consent with opt-out instructions.
12. International transfers
Data may be processed in the United States. For EEA/UK data we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
13. Changes
We will post updates here with a new date. Material changes to active subscriptions will be communicated by email when required.
